What was the inspiration behind your artwork?
Being a student of Microbiology and Biotechnology, I always have been fascinated about the micro and small elements of the world which we never notice. I love to show the people which are around them but hardly get noticed. Macro-photography is also a form of high magnification photography and the unnoticed small elements of nature similarly fascinate me. This is the inspiration behind my artwork.
What do you see as the similarity between science and art? Why is science-art important in today's society?
Photography is a great form of amalgamation of science and art. The technical things behind a great photograph are science, while the final photograph is a form of art. Both science and art involve consciousness of mind and application of logic behind any fact.
Science- art is a very important in present day to quench the thirst of mind which is full of questions. It is always very interesting if we can see with naked eyes what we read in textbooks. Different forms of science-art do the same thing. Science-art also makes people think about simple things in different ways, which ultimately an act as brain boosters and leads to logical thinking which the base of science is. This is why science-art is so important in today’s society.
